11 booked after "Don't Do It" sweep

That pre-dawn knock on the door at homes of several suspected drug dealers and others wasn’t an early visit from Santa. It was Eunice police executing Operation “Don’t Do It” warrants.
Eleven people were caught up in the pre-dawn net cast by Eunice officers with assistance from the City Marshal’s Office, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Eunice Chief Ronald Dies said the sweep serves as a reminder to narcotics suspects that his department will be vigilant on drug infractions until the day his term ends -- Dec. 31.
“I’m still on the job and we’re still going after them,” Dies said as suspects were being processed through the system at his department. Dies’ term of office ends on the last day December.
He said the investigation leading to the arrest warrants spanned as much as a year of narcotics detectives’ work in some instances.
Arrested in the raids were:

Tamera Hebert, 46, 431 Mill, distribution of Lortabs, distribution of Somas, violation of Uniform CDS;
Jerald Harrison, 58, 261 South Cane, distribution of codeine, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of Uniform CDS, removing label from prescription bottles;
Chrystal Longino, 35, 240 Mamie, possession of marijuana 2nd, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of Uniform CDS, illegal use of CDS in presence of juvenile;
Arthur Vigers, 51, 512A Fuselier, distribution of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of Uniform CDS;
Shawn Aguillard, 47, 1036 Heinen Rd., Basile, possession with intent to distribute Schedule III, possession of Schedule II, violation of Uniform CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia;
Hannah Bertrand, 18, 1711 West Dudley, possession of marijuana, violation of Uniform CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia;
Tony Darbonne, 48, 111 North 11th, money warrant speeding;
Tara Darbonne, 42, 111 North 11th, money warrant driving under suspension;
Shelly Smith, 120 Derouen, theft over $1,000, bench warrant no insurance, bench warrant, no seat belt.
