Audit reports include city marshal, town of Iota
Legislative Auditor reports issued this month include:
Eunice City Marshal
The Eunice City Marshal’s Office had revenues of $205,000 in the year ending June 30, 2014 and expenses of $198,000, according to an annual audit report.
The office’s fund balance at the end of the fiscal year was $108,609.
Revenue included $60,300 in fees earned and $144,500 in intergovernmental reimbursements.
The major expense was professional services, $116,600.
Town of Iota
The Town of Iota had $1.24 million revenue, including $701,000 in a Community Development Block Grant, in the year ending last June 30 and expenses of $995,300, including using all of the CDBG funds.
General Fund revenue was $279,000 and expenses were $283,000. Sales tax revenues totaled $266,100 with expenses of $10,300.
The city’s fund balance at year’s end was $890,000, after all transfers in and out were completed. That’s an increase of $180,000 for a year earlier.
The town’s utility fund income was $617,000, with expenses at $705,000.
