Basile man held on incest charge

Jerry Tucker of Basile was arrested Monday afternoon by the Basile Police Department on a warrant for aggravated incest.
In August of 2014 the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office began a criminal investigation into a complaint of aggravated incest that occurred three years ago in 2011.
During the investigation the assigned detective concluded that Tucker allegedly inappropriately touched a female victim on multiple occasions at a home in Ricohoc.
The female was 11 at the time.
Tucker has been transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
No bail has been set.
