Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that he signed the following bills into law on Wednesday.
ACT 33 – HB 28: Establishes legal holiday in Grant Parish.
ACT 34 – HB 31: Establishes legal holiday in Union Parish.
ACT 35 – HB 44: Provides relative to the mayor's court for the city of Kenner.
ACT 36 – HB 91: Provides for mayor's court in village of Elizabeth.
ACT 38 – HB 95: Adds additional members to Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice.
ACT 39 – HB 116: Requires each constable in Caddo Parish to report information relative to its deputy constable to sheriff.
ACT 40 – HB 196: Provides with respect to fuel sales at qualified truck stop facilities.
ACT 41 – HB 210: Provides relative to time limits for institution of prosecution of certain sex offenses.
ACT 42 – HB 251: Provides relative to state soil and water conservation commission.
ACT 43 – HB 291: Provides relative to division of diversity and opportunity and Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunity.
ACT 44 – HB 304: Provides with respect to cost of concealed handgun permit for veterans.
ACT 45 – HB 312: Reconstitutes Louisiana Mandated Health Benefits Commission and repeals certain provisions relative to mandated health insurance benefits.
ACT 46 – HB 323: Authorizes transfer of state property in Morehouse Parish.
ACT 48 – HB 346: Provides for exceptions to consumer loan licensing requirements.
ACT 49 – HB 442: Authorizes secretary of Department of Public Safety and Corrections to rename correctional facility at Cottonport, Louisiana, "Raymond Laborde Correctional Center".
ACT 50 – HB 460: Provides authority for domestic insurers to invest in certain foreign securities.
ACT 51 – HB 490: Provides for submission of remittance advice by health insurers to pharmacists.
ACT 52 – HB 495: Establishes fee for conducting pardon investigations.
ACT 53 – HB 524: Provides relative to penalties for failure to provide records of petroleum products sold.
ACT 54 – HB 548: Adds creation of reentry court in 4th JDC.
ACT 55 – HB 571: Repeals requirement that the secretary of state print documents of the Louisiana Historical Association.
ACT 56 – HB 596: Provides for notification and effectiveness of material change in contract between health insurance issuer and producer.
ACT 58 – HB 613: Provides relative to genetic information obtained by health insurers.
ACT 59 – HB 618: Requires health facility to provide notice of parent's right to determine final disposition of fetal remains.
ACT 60 – HB 634: Provides with respect to imprescriptible reservation of mineral rights.
ACT 61 – HB 637: Authorizes imposition of certain fees for rental of automobiles.
ACT 62 – HB 688: Adds substances to Schedules II and IV of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law.
ACT 63 – HB 692: Provides exemptions to citizenship and residency requirements for certain alcohol beverage permits.
ACT 64 – HB 724: Provides relative to deposits payable upon depositor's death.
ACT 65 – HB 755: Re-creates Department of Revenue.
ACT 66 – HB 812: Provides relative to maximizing use of available office space in state buildings.
ACT 68 – HB 816: Provide relative to certificates of creditable coverage.
ACT 69 – HB 847: Provides relative to Dept. of Culture, Recreation and Tourism.
