Eunice house fire investigated

Eunice Fire Chief Mike Arnold said a fire that occurred at 410 Dean St. Thursday night is under investigation.
“The home was unoccupied, but power was still going to the house,” Arnold said. “There was no furniture in the home, but it is suspicious that a fire erupted in the home.”
Arnold called in the state fire marshal’s office due to the suspicious circumstances of the fire, and evidence was taken from the scene for testing.
“The fire was possibly accidental, but we can’t rule out incendiary yet,” Arnold added.
