JoAnn DeRouen was shown in a photo handing out national anthem cards. The cards had the words to the national anthem on them and were distributed at Eunice High School football games. The cards were numbered drawings for prizes were held during the game.
Eunice High School students were pictured preparing for homecoming. The students were Tracy Veillon, Naomi Fontenot, Emily Miller, Amber Darbonne, Kim Fontenot, Gina Fontenot and Jessica Chapman.
Members of the Eunice High School Homecoming Court were Emayla Papion, Lacy Virgen, LaJuana Jordan, Lindsy Brown, Rebecca Richard, Jeanne Menard, Chassidy Green, Aimee Bourque, Gina Fontenot and Frashia Johnson.
The Glendale Elementary 4-H Club announced its new officers. They were Joshua Vigee, treasurer; Shane Darby and Derrick Gobert, sergeants-at-arms; LaDarrell Richard, president; Kaleb Aguillard, vice president; Mattie Baldwin, reporter; and Alison Lee, secretary. Sponsors were Phyllis Ortego and Karmen Moosa.
