Food Bank drive under way today

Volunteer Harry Reed weighs donations at the 28th annual Food Bank Food Net Drive at the Northwest Center Tuesday morning.
The Eunice Food Bank is hosting its 28th annual Food Bank Food Net Drive until 6 p.m. today at the Northwest Center.
Non-perishable items, toiletries like shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste as well as monetary donations are being accepted.
Donations started out slow but officials were confident the community would turn out as the day wears on.
