La. 13 closed at Maple Ave.; detour posted for 30 days

A detour was posted at La. 13 and Maple Avenue today as DOTD again prepared for a major repair at the intersection.
Replacement of subsurface drainage is expected to take about 30 calendar days, weather permitting.
A contract for the project was originally executed for work in September, but the contractor defaulted, requiring DOTD to go back to the drawing boards.
