LSU president names 8 to Eunice chancellor search panel

Louisiana State University President and Chancellor Dr. F. King Alexander has named an eight-member search committee of faculty and staff, as well as community leaders to select the next chancellor for LSU Eunice.
Dr. S. Renee Robichaux, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, will chair the panel that will recommend finalists for the post to the LSU Board of Supervisors. LSU Board of Supervisors will ultimately choose the new chancellor to succeed Dr. William J. Nunez, who will retire in June.
Committee members in addition to Robichaux include:
· Dr. Bill Richardson, LSU Vice President for Agriculture;
· Jerome Puyau, Vermilion Parish Superintendent of Schools
· E. Lynn LeJeune, President and CEO of the Opelousas-St. Landry Chamber of Commerce.
· Dr. James W. Robinson, President of the LSU Eunice Faculty Senate
· Dr. Douglas Narby, Associate Professor of Psychology, LSU Eunice
· Arlene C. Tucker, Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs, LSU Eunice
· Ms. Judy Daniels, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services, LSU Eunice
A national search firm will be utilized to assist in the identification of candidates.
