Wanted: Jail and Bail set tonight
Wanted for committing the crime of being a dedicated supporter of Eunice Community Health Center “Jail And Bail” tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ruby’s Courtyard.

Eunice Player’s ‘Black Coffee’ Nov. 9
Eunice Players’ Theatre will present “Black Coffee” an Agatha Christie comedy murder mystery.
Show dates are Nov. 9, 10, 12, 15, 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. There will be a Sunday Nov. 13 2 p.m. matinee.
There will be a dinner theater Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.

Bulb & Blossom meeting set Nov. 14
The Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club will meet Monday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. at the residence of Celeste Gomez.
All members are asked to attend and to bring something for the Eunice Food Bank.

Christmas Ball fundraiser set for Dec. 3
St. Mathilda “Women of His Story” (formerly known as Youth Group parents) will host their 12th annual Christmas Ball fundraiser Dec. 3 from 9 until 2 a.m.
The festivities will take place at the Bishop Caesar Center on N. MLK Drive. Pre-Sale tickets can be purchased $10 per person or $15 at the door of the evening.
Formal to semi-formal attire is required.
Door prizes will be awarded during the event. BYOB, DJ will be The Hitman-Tommy C.

Community Garden open hour suspended
The Eunice Community Garden’s open hour on Tuesday has been suspended until milder weather arrives, Patricia Brown, interim garden coordinator, said.

Changes in Farmers Market schedule
The Eunice Farmers’ Market will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays until the last Saturday before Thanksgiving, weather permitting.
A variety of home-made items and fresh produce will be available.

St. Joan of Arc bazaar Nov. 12
St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin will have its 28th annual Bazaar Nov. 12 and Nov. 13.
The Bazaar will begin with a Gumbo cookoff on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. Among the activities on Saturday will be gumbo dinners, and bingo.
On Sunday, Nov. 13 there willbe BBQ chicken and pork lunches, silent auction, live auction, and live music.

Junior Auxiliary Jingle Bell Run set
The third annual Junior Auxiliary of Eunice’s Jingle Bell Rock & Run 5K will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1 beginning at 6 p.m.
Pre-registration is Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 5- 7 p.m. and again prior to the race time. Early bird registration is $25, registration is $30 and late registration is $35.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Mayor’s office at city hall and at Gossip Boutique.

Saturday program at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center
Saturday programs at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center, 250 W. Park Ave., Eunice, are the Explore & Restore craft workshop for kids, from 10 a.m. to noon; Cajun Conversations meets 1 to 2:30 p.m. to learn and practice conversational Cajun French; Music and dancing kicks off at 2:45 p.m. and ends with the cooking demonstration and sampling at 4 p.m. Admission to the center and programs is free.
