Tats a tip to alleged thief

Police tracked down Devin Sonnier, 31, of 610 North 11th, who allegedly admitted the burglary.
A small amount of cash taken was not recovered by a .20 gauge shotgun taken in the burglary was.
Sonnier was charged with criminal damage, simple burglary, felony theft and theft of a firearm.
At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond from a city arrested for alleged domestic abuse battery.
After that release, he had reported to police that someone had stolen a laptop computer from his residence while he was in jail.
