Principal Mitch Fontenot informed that Eunice High is Opened Today-Friday. Repairs on AC system is fixed and working.
A Power surge overnight on Wednesday burned wiring in the AC system. In order to make the repairs, power had to be shut off at the building Thursday at noon.
A number of candidates filed their papers on the first day of qualifying for the Nov. 4 primary election.
The qualifying period opened Wednesday and closes Friday afternoon.

The entertainers’ scheduled for September-November at the Rendez-vous des Cajuns Saturday night show at the Liberty Theater has been released.
