Rodrick Fletcher

Military graveside honors for Rodrick E. Fletcher, 84 of Simsboro, were held Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery near Shreveport with interment following immediately.

Mr. Fletcher was a WWII Navy veteran and was retired from the National Security Agency where he had been a Research Analyst. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, James and Lonnie Fletcher; Sister, Marie Beach.

Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife of 63 years, Violet Gohman Fletcher of Simsboro; son, Raymond Fletcher and wife Kathleen of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Juletta M. and husband Paul Davidson Jr.; brothers, Norman Fletcher, Felix Fletcher and Gerry Fletcher; sister, Carolyn Brown; grandsons, Wayne and Jeffrey Fletcher, Brian Davidson, Paul Davidson III and wife MacKenzie; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
