"Lights On Afterschool" Parade

The St. Landry Parish 21st Century’s “Lights On Afterschool” held a block-parade Thursday afternoon with Eunice Elementary students, EHS Band Drumline participants celebrating its importance.  Afterschool programs keep kids safe and help working families and inspires learning. LaRonda Simpson, a Eunice High special education teacher, spear-headed the AfterSchool parade.
Eunice High Band drummers and EHS Band Director Jeremy Murray marching alongside Eunice Elementary students included Kai Pierre, Michael Daprato, Trey Gallow, Trinion Winbush, Bryce Pavich, Ronald Jacobs and Robert Raymond.
