Nursery Festival under way

The 29th annual Louisiana Nursery Festival opened this morning and runs through Sunday afternoon.
It is most often referred to as the “festival of flowers” due to the volume of bedding plants and shrubs showed by vendors.
The festival also features a carnival midway and vendors of various arts, crafts and merchandise.
Forest Hill bills itself as the “nursery capital of the world.”
