Elsie Johnson

Elsie Catorie Johnson died on Friday, July 4, 2014, at the age of 85. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Time is pending at this time. Burial will follow at Courville Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Johnson of Eunice and Tony Johnson of Ville Platte; one daughter, Elaine Miller of Eunice; one daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Shewas preceded in death by her father, Emond Catorie; her husband, Deno Johnson; one son, Jimmy Johnson; one daughter, Jenny Johnson; one brother, Russell Catorie; two sisters, Elrina Catorie and Mary Doucet.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014, from 9 AM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, for visitation until time of service.
