Allison Guillory
A Funeral service will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mallet, LA at 12:00 pm for Allison P. Guillory, 76 on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 11:45 am with a Rosary being prayed at 10:00 am, also at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in the St. Ann’s Catholic Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, SVD officiating.
Guillory died on July 25, 2014 at 4:55 am at the Southwest LA Veteran’s Home in Jennings, LA.
He was a retired veteran of the United States Army of 22 years.
Survivors include: his spouse, Mercedes F. Guillory of Eunice; one son, Wilbert Lee Frank (Jackie) of Lake Charles; two daughters, Barbara Jean Ned (Christopher) and Melany Ann Frank, both of Eunice; four brothers: David Guillory (Tracy) of Arlington, Texas, Thomas Guillory (Linda) of Richmond, Texas, Paul Guillory (Joan) of Jackson, Miss., and Lucius Guillory, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Houston, Texas; four sisters: Estrelda Sonnier of Beaumont, Texas, Lovey Marie Cooney (Joseph) of Washington, D.C., Cherry Popillion (Hilman) of Mallet, Texas, and Brenda Bowie (Alfred) of Lafayette; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucius and Rose Guillory, Sr.; two sisters, Rose G. Woods and Rita V. Augustine; two brothers, Eluis Guillory and Gerald Guillory; and one son, Robert Lee Frank.
Pallbearers will be: Kendall Frank, Peter Bowie, Malcolm Augustine, Justin Guillory, Jean Paul Guillory, Chadwick J. Popillion, Percy Williams, and Gino Jackson.
Frank Brothers is in charge of arrangements.
