Heinen ready for ‘Party Down South’ new season
Eunice native and reality television star Tiffany Heinen will soon be rolling out her luggage to shoot the fourth season of Country Music Television’s “Party Down South.”
“We don’t find out where we’re filming next until we start packing,” Heinen said. “We find out the second week of April where we’re filming next.”
Heinen has been on the show since August 2013, and the show has filmed at locations in Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi.
“I like to travel and see places outside of Eunice,” Heinen said.
The third season of the show is airing on CMT, and Heinen discussed what fans can expect in upcoming episodes.
“Little Bit (Taylor Wright, a former cast member on the show) didn’t show up for our vacation,” she said. “We also have a new cast member, Hannah (Guidry). We are trying to figure her out, see if we all get along, see what she’s all about.”
“We are also seeing how Daddy (cast member Ryan Richards) acts. Walt (Windham) and Daddy both wanted Hannah. Hannah hooked up with Daddy, and now we’re waiting to see if disaster strikes from Daddy hooking up with another roommate.”
Henien is at home in Eunice, but when she’s on the road for filming, there’s one thing that tops the list of things she misses here in Louisiana.
“I miss crawfish the most,” she said, laughing. “The thing I miss the least is everybody in my business.”
“(Another con is), not being home. I’m a homebody. I’m big on family and friends.”
According to Heinen, the perks of her job include meeting new people, including singer Lionel Ritchie, and attending the CMT Awards.
“I met people I would have never met (had it not been for the show),” Heinen said.
As she spends some down time in Eunice, Heinen makes sure to spend plenty of quality time with her pet pig Rooster who does not join her on the road for the show.
“It would be hard to take him filming,” Heinen said, laughing. “He’s spoiled and grumpy. My mom and dad live not far from me, so they are good about feeding my animals. I get Facebook messages from people here when Rooster is too close to the road.”
While she waits to skip town for season four filming, Heinen also makes weekend club appearances for the Redneck Rodeo Tour, and she also promoted “Party Down South” at a brewery company in South Carolina.
“I’m off during the week and work on the weekends,” Heinen said, laughing.
In handling her celebrity status, Heinen said she makes sure to stay true to herself, something she said the show’s fans enjoy.
“They like the funny things I do and say,” she said. “Many fans record the show, watch what I do and then rewind it to see me again.”
“My dad is not fond of some of the memories I have made (on the show),” she added, laughing.
Heinen said she realized her level of fame when she saw herself in an issue of Star magazine
“It hit me then, that I may be a little bit of a somebody,” she said. “I read Star magazine a lot. I was reading about myself in an article next to a story about Princess Kate’s pregnancy. That really awakened me.”
When her run on the show comes to an end, Heinen said she hopes to open a daycare center in south Louisiana.
