Lady Bengals return to No. 1

For the first time this season, the Lady Bengals (35-3) moved to the top of the NCJAA Division II softball polls.
Former leader Jones County Junior College (24-2) slipped down to third place, while Phoenix College (36-4) is now in second place.
It is the sixth year in a row the Lady Bengals have been the top-ranked team sometime during the season.
LSU Eunice defeated Phoenix for the 2013 title, while the Lady Bengals also downed Jones County last year to repeat as champions.
Highland Community College (19-2) remained in fourth place, while Des Moines Area Community College (26-5) and Illinois Central College (12-10) follow.
Johnson County Community College (22-6) Kankakee Community College (11-3) both moved up one place.
Lincoln Land Community College (18-8) and Pima Community College (27-9) round out the top ten.
LSU Eunice (27-7) is presently in second place in the NCJAA Division II baseball polls.
Hinds Community College (24-1) is the top-ranked team, while No. 3 Mesa Community College (30-8), Southeastern Community College (22-6) and Pasco-Hernando State College (23-8) round out the Top Five.
