Eunice driving instructor arrested for indecent behavior with juveniles
A Eunice driving instructor has been arrested and accused of giving more than lessons to female students.
On Monday, Eunice police arrested Teddy Aguillard, 45, 231 N. 2nd St., Eunice, on two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Aguillard is owner of Gator Driving School and Safety, LLC, located at the 2nd Street address, police said
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said, “While riding around with young ladies he made lewd and lascivious comments to the ladies, which naturally upset them. They reported the incidents to their parents and the parents filed complaints.
Aguillard has appeared before a district judge who set bail at $10,000, Fontenot said. Aguillard is free on bail, he said.
Fontenot said there have been other complaints about Aguillard’s behavior, but they occurred outside the Eunice city limits. Those complaints were turned over to appropriate law enforcement agencies, he said.
The incidents leading to his arrest occurred on May 30, he said.
“As far as we know it is just inappropriate comments being made,” Fontenot said.
Aguillard’s home address is 2227 Prudhomme Road, Eunice, police said.
Gator Driving School and Safety was registered with the Louisiana Secretary of State Office on March 25, 2010, according the office’s website.
The business’ status is listed as active, but is not in good standing for failure to file an annual report.
