Aug. 11
08:09 Subject outside two houses fighting in the 200 block of Julia.
11:25 18-wheeler hit a power line and pulled it down in the 500 block of South 13th. Fire department and Cleco enroute.
13:00 Bicycle recovered in the 1300 block of Rose Street.
13:30 Power line at corner of Mamie and Pearl.
14:25 Shoplifting at Maple Avenue Pharmacy. Occurred around 12:30.
17:53 Report of stepfather beating on children and mother in the 300 block of East Peach. Man has left the residence and the woman does not want to file charges.
18:55 Suspicious person. Man with a T-shirt towel on his head playing with a knife behind the church on Beulah and Williams.
19:07 Hit and run at Burger King parking lot.
20:49 Shoplifting at Dollar General. Four subjects, three were removed from store.
