A traditional Thanksgiving feast at Glendale Elementary
A Thanksgiving feast for Glendale Elementary fourth-graders Thursday was made possible and prepared by fourth-grader parents. A tradition at Glendale Elementary for many years, parents of fourth-grade students provide a Thanksgiving Day feast of homemade prepared foods for fourth grade students, parents, and teachers to enjoy. A large ‘spread’ of turkey, ham, green bean casserole, corn, beans, corn bread dressing, candied yams, boudin, rice dressing, cranberry sauce, rolls, fried rice, and a variety of desserts, was enjoyed by fourth-graders and guests. Fourth grade teachers are Lynda Perrodin, Michelle Stelly, and Keesha Huval. Principal at Glendale is Laura Lombas. (Photo by Myra Miller)
