Eunice Police stepping up traffic patrol on Monday

Starting Monday, the Click It Or Ticket campaign begins. The campaign continues through June 5.
Police Chief Randy Fontenot said the campaign allows more police to be on the road concentrating on traffic violations, particularly seat belts and child safety restraints.
In conjunction with the child safety restraints, Eunice Police will offer an assessment of child safety restraint installations by appointment, Sgt. Stephanie Myers said. Call 337-457-6593 for an appointment to have child safety restraints assessed or installed. Installation takes about 30 to 40 minutes, she said.
