EHS class of 1966 to meet May 23
The Eunice High Class of 1966 will meet for lunch at Ruby’s at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

10th Pastor and wife appreciation May 29
The Greater Golden Light Baptist Church family coordially invites the public to their 10th year Pastor Gregory Fontenot and Wife Appreciation ceremony on May 29 at 2:30 p.m.
Pastor Allen Ben of Zion Travelers Baptist Church of Mamou and New Zion Baptist Church of Eunice will be the guest speaker.

May public prayer at St. Anthony’s
During the month of May a rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet will be prayed daily at 5:30 p.m. at the shrine of the Blessed Mother in front of Saint Anthony’s rectory.
The public is encouraged to participate.

EHS class of 2016- special brick offer
EHS Alumni Association is offering the senior class of 2016 a chance to purchase a brick at the high school’s Centennial Brick plaza, along with a lifetime membership into the Alumni Association for half price during the month of May.
For $50 between May 1 and June 1 any senior, or person buying one for an EHS senior of 2016, will receive a discount.

Community Garden open hour Tuesdays
The Eunice Community Garden has scheduled open hours from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays to allow the community to learn about the opportunity to garden in a community setting.
“Jardin des Amis” is located at 2201 W. Ash St. and is behind the state Department of Motor Vehicles office.

Saturday program at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center
Saturday programs at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center, 250 W. Park Ave., Eunice, are the Explore & Restore craft workshop for kids, from 10 a.m. to noon; Cajun Conversations meets 1 to 2:30 p.m. to learn and practice conversational Cajun French; Music and dancing kicks off at 2:45 p.m. and ends with the cooking demonstration and sampling at 4 p.m. Admission to the center and programs is free.
