John Ray Schneider, Sr. passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the age of 80.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 10 AM at St. Anthony Catholic
Church. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Former mayor
SPEARSVILLE – Services for former mayor Oda Rockett will be Feb. 27. She died Feb. 20.
She was a retired Registered Nurse and former chairman of the Tri-Ward General Hospital board. While mayor she secured a number of grants for update municipal facilities.
Scouting leader
ALEXANDRIA – Services for long-time Boy Scout volunteer and advertising director Ernest Story will be Feb. 25.
