Mary Ruth Cole Stout died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the age of 79. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Eunice.
Czech Heritage advocate
PINEVILLE – Services for retired merchant, farmer and Czech Heritage advocate George Tuma will be Wednesday. He died June 1 at age 91.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the World War II invasions at Guam, New Caledonia, Bougainville, Fiji and the Philippines.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014, time pending at Melancon Funeral Home in Opelousas for Joshua Joseph "June" Lejeune, age 24, who died Friday, May 30, 2014 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette follwing a traffic accident on La. 13 south of Eunice.
