Portions of I-10, I-49, U.S. 90 closed at times this weekend
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that Interstate 10, Interstate 49 and U.S. 90, in Acadia and Lafayette parishes, will have intermittent lane closures to allow crews to conduct pavement sampling on the roadway.
The intermittent lane closures will take place as follows:
Saturday, November 9
Interstate 10 Westbound (from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.)
Acadia Parish:
- between Crowley and Rayne
- between Rayne and Duson
Lafayette Parish
- between Ambassador Caffrey and Scott
- between Louisiana Avenue and St. Martin Parish Line/Sawmill Road
Interstate 49 Northbound in Lafayette Parish (from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.)
- between I-10 and Pont Des Mouton Road
Interstate 49 Southbound in Lafayette Parish
- between La. 98 (Gloria Switch Road) and La. 726 (Carencro)
- between La. 726 (Carencro) and La. 182
Sunday, November 10th
Interstate 10 and Interstate 49
- Completion of any of the above that were not completed on November 9th
U.S. 90 Eastbound in Lafayette Parish
- between Johnston Street and Taft Street
- between University Avenue and Kaliste Saloom Road
- between Verot School Road and Morgan Avenue
U.S. 90 Westbound in Lafayette Parish
- just north of Albertson Parkway
