Dry fall, cold winter shorten crawfish season

When fall weather is dry, and winter is as cold and as long as it was this year, the combination spells problems for the crawfish industry.
That scenario put this year’s season about one month behind, said LSU AgCenter aquaculture researcher Robert Romaire.
