Miller, Thomas exchange vows during Nuptial Mass ceremony

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for the afternoon Nuptial Mass ceremony uniting Caroline Alyse Miller and Steven Christopher Thomas in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m. with Father Nathan Comeaux officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffery and Neysa Miller of Eunice; and the groom is the son of Tim and Joni Thomas of Breaux Bridge.
Ushers were Tre’ Fusilier of Baton Rouge and Christian Burns of Pineville.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in an ivory laced, gold underlay gown featuring cap sleeves and a gold sash with jeweled brooch.
The bride’s headpiece included a fingertip veil with scalloped laced edges. She carried a bouquet of white roses, peonies, hydrangas, calla lilies and daisies.
Layne Miller of Eunice, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants included Victoria Miller of Sunset, Blaire Fontenot of Shreveport, both cousins of the bride; Courtney Moulliet of Lafayette, Amber Dupre of Eunice, and Kaitlyn LeBouef of Eunice, all friends of the bride.
The attendants wore champagne knee-length dresses and carried bouquets of green hydrangeas.
Grace Miller of Eunice, daughter of Jeffery and Neysa Miller, served as flower girl.
Vic Moulliet, a friend of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Kyle Calais of Breaux Bridge, Ben Dupre of Eunice, both friends of the groom; John Ross Miller of Eunice, brother of the bride; Charlie Shirley of Pineville, and Joe Guidry of Miramar, Florida, both cousins of the groom. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with matching champagne vests and ties.
A reception was held at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn in Rayne.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to New Orleans and have made their home in Eunice.
The bride is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as a first-grade teacher at St. Michael Catholic School in Crowley.
The groom is a graduate of Teurlings High School and University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently employed at Bernhard Mechanical Construction in Lafayette.
