Eunice man killed in crash

A Eunice man died in a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on La. 370 west of La. 35 in Acadia Parish, Louisiana State Police Troop I reports in a news release.
The crash, which occurred about 2 p.m. Monday, took the life of 60 year old Anderson Domingue, 60, of Eunice.
Domingue was driving a 2005 Toyota Tundra eastbound on La. 370. As Domingue exited a left curve, his vehicle ran off of the right side of the road, police said.
Domingue’s vehicle struck an embankment and went airborne, striking a tree and overturning in a canal, police said.
Despite the fact that he was properly restrained, Domingue was pronounced dead on scene by an Acadia Parish Coroner’s Office representative, police said.
Impairment is not considered to have been a factor in the crash; however routine toxicology samples were taken and sent to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis, police said.
