The following is the arrest report from the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office for March 23.
Devante Lagrange, 20, 125 Georgia St., Lafayette, simple battery involving domestic violence. Arrested by Grand Coteau Police Department.

Eunice police detectives search Eunice High students Wednesday morning

Eunice Police were out in force at Eunice High School after a note threatening violence was found in the school on Tuesday.
Principal Mitch Fontenot said, “A message written by someone on the bathroom wall, said something was happening at Eunice High Wednesday."
Eunice man charged with carnal knowledge of juvenile

A 23-year-old Eunice man has been arrested for carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old girl at his residence, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Tre J. Guillory, of the 400 block of Myers, was arrested Monday.
Body of FEMALE RECOVERED IN A CANAL NEAR PALMETTO

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team recovered the body of a female from a canal near Palmetto late Monday afternoon.
