The Mamou Police Department has resumed its participation in the state’s L.A.C.E. (Local Agency Compensated Enforcement) program.
The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Edward Charlie, 707 Henshaw St., New Iberia, was charged October 6, with remaining after being forbidden. Charlie was released with a citation.
The City Court of the City of Eunice met pursuant to adjournment on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 6:00 o’clock P.M. at the City Hall, Honorable Judge Lynette Y. Feucht presiding.

St. Landry Registrar of Voters Cheryl Milburn reminds residents that the early voting period for the Nov. 4 primary election opened Tuesday and will continue through Oct. 28,
Early voting can be done at the registrar’s office in the parish courthouse in Opelousas.
