Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is Marion Herman Oglesby, a junior at Eunice High School. His parents are Kayla Givs Pittman and William Oglesby, Sr.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Atlanta, Ga. because it is a bigger city and has more opportunities for me to explore.

Do you have a career wish? I would like to become an attorney.

What could you eat seven days a week? Spaghetti.

What could you never eat? Sweet potatoes.

What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is Advanced math, and my favorite teacher is Alicia Guillory.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is 12 Years A Slave.

What was the last video game you played? Sims 3.

Do you Facebook, Tweet? I Tweet, two times a day.

What is an ideal summer vacation? My ideal vacation is vacationing at a beach house in Florida.

Who has the most influence on you so far? My mother and my grandfather.

What would you change in your city? I wish Eunice offered more after-school activities for the youth.

What do you like the most at your school? I enjoy playing in the band.
