EHS students “give back”, donates to Food Bank

Above are Eunice High students Brandon Martel, Austin Deculas and Brad Sonnier unloading boxes and bag fulls of canned good and staple items at the Eunice Food Bank. Eunice High School students were given the opportunity to “give back” to those in need in the community. The high school held a one-day non-uniform dress day whereas students donated one canned good item for each non-uniform dress-wear. An overwhelming response of donations was collected and 1,110 pounds of food items was given to Eunice Food Bank Wednesday morning. Mary Ann Guillory, director at the food bank, was as she said, “Thank you! Thank you... It’s Christmas here in September for those less fortunate.”
