Eunice High School senior Camron Mire held a clothing drive for his senior project. Clothing donations were collected from Nov. 30 through Dec. 11. All clothing donations were given to The Welcome House. Mire also held a clothing drive for the center on Dec.
On Dec. 22, Eunice High seniors Alyson Rougeau, Ethan Briscoe, Jacob LaCombe and Isaiah Montgomery sponsored Bingo for the residents of Oaklane Wellness as part of their senior project. The seniors also held a bake sale raising $125 for gifts and refreshment for the residents.
The Acadian Baptist Center held a community watch meeting on Jan. 19 to discuss safety issues in the Richard area. More than100 people attended the meeting which included Scott Police Chief Chad Leger, Crowley Police Chief K. P.
