St. Edmund Catholic School celebrated Catholic Schools Week last week with many different activities, projects, classroom speakers, a motivational evangelist speaker, a bake sale and a youth retreat.

Recently, 19 students competed for the title of Eunice Junior High Student of the Year. Those students have maintained 3.5 or higher grade point average, and a good behavior- discipline record for the past two years.

Andrus has served as EJHS cheerleader for the past two years. She is passionate about cheering and tumbling, and hopes to one day become a cheer coach.

Eunice High senior Emerald Dance team members, Katelyn Guillory, Conner Granger and Hailey Thibodeaux hosted a dance clinic on Jan. 23 with all proceeds donated to Faith House. The dance clinic was designed for girls ages 4-12, and the seniors were pleased with the turn-out. They raised $165.
