Favorite Movie Day
St. Edmund High School students enjoyed homecoming week with dress days. Monday was Movie Day, Tuesday was declared Farm Day, Wednesday seniors dressed as King & Queens and underclassmen dressed as a Hobo.Today is St. Ed traditional Blue & White Day and Toga Day.
This week’s Student of the Week is Jeslyn Edwards, a sixth grader at Central Middle School. Her guardians are Vada Granger and Jessie Edwards.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at 6 p.m. will present a performance by JoJo Reed & The Happy Hill Zydeco Band.
Be sure to wear your best costume. Winner will receive one free patron ticket good for five shows.
Henrietta Fontenot’s class at Eunice Elementary worked together on a project and unit about pumpkins. A pumpkin was brought to school and the students were able to carve it. After carving the pumpkin, the students removed the seeds and planted them.
Eunice Fire fighter operators Chase Brown and Christian Walker with the Eunice Fire Department visited Highland Elementary to speak with students about fire safety.
