The Eunice Players’ Theatre prepares to open their final show of its 45th season, the three-act comedy “Harvey” on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The show continues Nov. 13,18, 20, and 22 with curtain at 7 p.m. each evening. There will be two matinees, Sunday Nov. 16 and 23 with curtain at 2 p.m.

On a recent outing the Eunice Red Hat Society ladies and guests spent a Sunday in Arnaudville, touring the Bayou Teche Brewing Company. The tour was concluded with a tasting of their more-popular core brews under the “LA 31” label.

Barbara Wells, a volunteer member of the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club, selected James and Judy Hayden’s residence as the recipient of the Residential Yard of the Week.

Eunice Elementary students practiced for their Louisiana Day presentation. Students learned about Louisiana’s history and presented their results during a Parents day presentation held Nov. 5.

Showing off a possible book purchase is Aidan Fontenot, a kindergartener at East Elementary. East Elementary held its BookFair this past week and held an evening Family night. Fontenot’s teacher is Katie Murphy.
