Ashley Moffett, 15- year-old homeschooler from Eunice, has recently returned from pitching her new book “The Orphans” to Hollywood representatives at the most recent Book to Screen PitchFest event in Las Vegas, Nev.
St. Edmund Catholic School named its Support Persons of the Year-Andre and Beth Soileau. The couple volunteer countless hours at St. Edmund. Beth currently serves as PTC President and spends long hours organizing PTC meetings along with fundraising events.

Richard Elementary participated in the Acadia Parish Basketball Special Olympics held on Feb. 7 at Iota High School. Students from across the parish took part. Participants from Richard Elementary received first-place honors.
