This week’s Student of the Week is Manjot Singh, a senior at Eunice High School. His parents are Gurbaksh Singh and Parveen Kaur.

The St. Landry Parish 21st Century’s “Lights On Afterschool” held a block-parade Thursday afternoon with Eunice Elementary students, EHS Band Drumline participants celebrating its importance. Afterschool programs keep kids safe and help working families and inspires learning.
A Domestic Violence Walk and Vigil, themed “Domestic Violence Stops At Home”, and sponsored by Chat-A-While Social & Civic Club, Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club, and St. Landry/Evangeline Sexual Assault Center, was held Thursday afternoon with many women and men participating.
