Eunice Elementary third-and fourth-graders celebrated their annual LEAP jam day Friday before testing. This years’ theme was “Super Heroes–Do your best and Zap the test’’.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at 6 p.m. will present performance by The Camp Jammers Showcase starring Fred Charlie, Dave Johnson, Boisy Pitre, Jourdon Thibodeaux and Shane Bellard.
Doors open at 4 p.m., and show starts at 6 p.m.

Laken Grouvillia was crowned Miss Eunice Saturday night during the Miss Eunice and Teen Miss Eunice pageant at LSUE.
Grouvillia, 19, is a freshman at LSUE. She is the daughter of Sonia and Michael Grouvillia.
