This week’s Student of the Week is Ian H. George, a sophomore at Eunice High School. His parents are Michelle and Mike George.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live on a beach.
St. Francis School recently participated in a community service. Students, pre-k through first-grade donated new stuffed animals for children at Faith House, and second through eighth-graders gave cleaning supplies to Helen’s Soup Kitchen in Crowley.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at 6 p.m. will present a performance by Jamie Berzas & Cajun Tradition.
Doors open at 4 p.m., and show starts at 6 p.m.

The following are the summer schedule and activities at the Eunice Public Library.
There will be summer reading programs and activities for children, teens and as well for adults.
Summer Reading Program registration begins on May 31, and the last day to register is July 2.
The Eunice High Alumni Association, along with American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, sponsors Eunice High Girls State Delegate each summer to attend state convention. Eunice High School this year will send two juniors, Jyhreh Johnson and Katlyn Joubert.
