Community Garden open hour Tuesdays
The Eunice Community Garden has scheduled open hours from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays to allow the community to learn about the opportunity to garden in a community setting.
Pierre Martel, Teacher of the Year at Eunice High and St. Landry Parish High School Teacher of the Year, now advances as one of the finalists at state competition.
According to Martel, “There were 168 submissions from around the state, and I’m in the final 24.”

Eunice High School seniors Marion Oglesby, left, Jailyn Papillion and Gabriella Vidrine donated items on April 8 to the St. Landry Parish Animal Control for their senior project. The team of seniors held a bake sale at Eunice High on Feb. 5 with all proceeds going to the animal center.
