Brinkman to be honored at St. Landry Chamber fundraiser

The St. Landry Chamber of Commerce’s “2016 Horses, Harmony and Agricultural Awards Banquet” is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 26 at Equine Sales of Louisiana, LLC, Copper Crown at 372 Harry Guilbeau Road in Opelousas.
There will be live performance by Blake Castille, Sarah Jayde Williams, Phil Kaelin and Danny Kimball as a tribute to Retired Judge Robert “Bobby” Brinkman.
Dinner will be catered by Briskett Baskett.
Along with an evening of great food, cash bar, and entertainment, the event lends way to honoring three individuals who have contributed to the promotion and preservation of three of the area’s largest cultural industries which includes the music, agriculture and equine industry. Honorees for this year’s Horses, Harmony, and Agriculture Awards are retired Judge Robert “Bobby” Brinkman whose family will be presented with the Hadley J. Castille Music Award. Meanwhile, Craig Rideau will be honored by receiving the H & H Equine Industry Award, and Agromen, Inc. will receive the Agricultural Award.
Partial net proceeds will go to the Chamber’s Scholarship Program. Advance tickets only, are available for a $30 donation by contacting the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce at 337-942-2683.
There are three sponsorship levels available:
Platinum — $1,000/reserved table for eight (tables seat eight only) and recognition in all printed material and table toppers.
Gold — $500/reserved seating for four (Share a table with Gold and/or Silver Sponsors) and recognition in all printed material and table toppers.
Silver — $250/reserved seating for two (Share a table with Silver and/or Gold Sponsors) and recognition in all printed material and table toppers.
