Community healing gathering tonight in Lafayette

A free community healing gathering will be hosted from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette to celebrate the lives of the victims of the recent tragedy at Lafayette’s Grand 16 Theater and thank all personnel who have provided support following the incident.
Doors will open at 6 p.m.
The coliseum is located at 2330 Johnston St.
Overflow parking is being provided down St. Landry Street at the Our Lady of Lourdes property. Shuttle service will be provided back and forth from Lourdes to Blackham Coliseum until 30 minutes after the event ends.
