Etouffee Cook-off winners

A beautiful sunshine day on Sunday drove large crowds to the 30th annual World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off held at the Northwest Community Pavilion.
More than 30 teams, which included amateur, professional, clubs and organizations divisions, cooked their crawfish etouffee recipes for public sampling, judging and a chance at winning a trophy.
Cooking winners of the 2015 Crawfish Etouffee Cookoff were:
Amateur
First place — Double Action Outdoor & Sports.
Second place — The Eunice News.
Third place — DeVillier House Movers.
Professional
First place — LAS.
Second place — CLECO.
Club/Organization
First place — Rotary Cafe’.
Second place — The Homesteaders (St. Landry Homestead).
Third place —Case of Mud Bugs-Progressive Tractor.
