Eunice native promoted at Christus Health

Patrick Carrier, a native of Eunice, was recently promoted to senior vice president of group operations at Christus Health, a Catholic related health organization with facilities in the southern and western United States.
Carrier, the son of Hilda and the late Milton Carrier of Eunice, now supervises Christus Santa Rosa Health System in San Antonio and Christus Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi. Carrier will continue to be based in San Antonio, where he was previously CEO of the Santa Rosa System, and he will also travel to the Christus Spohn Health System and the Christus Health office near the Dallas area.
With the promotion, Carrier is now also part of the newly created Christus Health President’s Council. The group will meet every two weeks, and he and other individuals on the council will give their input on decisions that will affect the whole Christus Health system.
Carrier is married to the former Renee Soileau of Eunice, and they have two sons, Dr. Brian Carrier and Jeremy Carrier
