It took three years, but police finally book Church Point town clerk
Police knew where Marshail Wildridge was for the three years she was at large. They just couldn’t get her to turn herself in.
Finally this week, Eunice arrested the Church Point Town Clerk and took her to see a district judge.
Her bond on a charge of hit-and-run was set, she met it and presumably went back to work.
Wildridge allegedly struck her husband with a vehicle during an argument on July 7, 2011.
It didn’t take long to track her to the Church Point town hall.
“Officers made contact with the suspect several times by phone and asked her to turn herself in,” said Deputy Chief Varden Guillory, Sr., saying she promised to come in but never did.
