Jeanerette police chief arrested in connection with Lipstick’s case in Lafayette

Jeanette Police Chief Marvin Grogan was arrested Friday in connection with an investigation into Lipsticks Gentleman’s Club, 6157 Johnston St., Lafayette, a news release from the Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force said.
Grogan was arrested about 8:30 p.m. by task force members, assisted by Louisiana State Police.
Grogan was arrested on warrants for malfeasance in office and three counts of compounding a felony in connection with the Lipstick’s investigation, the news release said.
Grogan was taken to the Iberia Parish Correctional Center and booked within the Parish he was arrested. He will be later transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and booked on all charges.
