District 41 State Rep. Philllip DeVillier, R-Eunice, was at the Eunice Community Health Center when a shipment of medical supplies by AmeriCares was delivered to clinic.

Medical supplies delivered to Eunice Community Health Center

Personnel from AmeriCares of Stamford, Connecticut, arrived in Eunice Friday.
AmeriCares Sal Migliaccio, Jake Raushcher and William Daley provided an overnight shipment of medical supplies shipment to the Eunice Community Health Center.
AmeriCares, a U.S. Medical Assistance Program, acts as a partnership with Eunice Community Health Center, provided 300 TDap vaccinations and 200 insulin hygiene kits in response to flood victims in the Eunice area.
Yancy Fontenot, director at Eunice Community Health Center, said AmeriCares has been an ongoing partner with the Eunice health clinic since Hurricane Katrina.
The men are staying in Lafayette and they plan to help with medical needs in the Baton Rouge area.
